The development of state building codes will allow for more professional and expert organizations.
The Cabinet of Ministers has simplified the procedures for the development of state building standards (GOS). The development of the GOS will be able to join more professional and expert organizations, said Deputy Prime Minister Gennady Zubko.
As the press service of the government, the Cabinet adopted a resolution which amended the “regulations on the base organization of scientific and technological activities in construction”.
Zubko said that the document expanded the list of organizations that can participate in the development of the GOS. “In Ukraine there are many organizations that have professional and expertise in this field, but do not have the legal status of the base organization. Therefore, we simplified the procedure of obtaining the status of basic organization-developer projects of GSN,” – said Deputy Prime Minister.
In particular, according to him, abolished the mandatory requirement in the establishment of technical Committee for standardization and the requirement to have ten years of experience in the development of normative documents. This approach will make the development process more qualitative GOS, and the GOS themselves will respond to modern trends in construction, said Zubko.
