The Cabinet established a new salary Klitschko and mayors of cities
The Cabinet has set the base salary of the mayor of Kiev 11 thousand hryvnia.
This is stated in the government decision No. 353 as of may 24.
According to the updated scheme of salaries of managers and specialists of the apparatus (Secretariat) of regional and Kyiv city councils is established that the salary of the Chairman of the Board and Kiev will reach 11 thousand hryvnia, first Deputy Chairman of the Council, Deputy mayor – Secretary of Kyiv city Council – 9 850 hryvnia and Vice-chair of Council – 8 850 hryvnia, and the Chairman of the district Council in Kiev, will receive a salary of 8 100. hryvnia, Deputy – 7 150 hryvnia.
Earlier media reported that the salary of the mayor of Kiev is 10 UAH 338. (December 2016), that is, he increased the level of payments for about 600 UAH.
Mayors of cities will receive a salary of 8,7 thousand hryvnias, the mayors of cities United in territorial communities – 5.3 thousand UAH (population of 15 thousand people) and 5.1 thousand UAH (population up to 15 thousand people).
The government determined that the bonuses of heads of regional, district and district in the cities councils, their deputies, village, settlement and city heads, determine their allowances, provision of financial assistance is carried out in the manner and amount defined by the regulation on the structure and conditions of remuneration of employees of Executive bodies, prosecutors, courts and other bodies, within the approved costs of labor.
The decision about these payments is held by the responsible Council.
