The Cabinet authorized the Ukrainians to travel to Turkey ID-cards

For trips do not need a passport.

The government approved a decree that will allow citizens of Ukraine and Turkey to carry out the mutual visits by ID cards.

Text of the decree “On approval of the Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the government of the Republic of Turkey amending the agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the government of the Turkish Republic on conditions of mutual trips of citizens” was adopted in a shortened procedure without ads.

Earlier, on March 14, during the visit of Prime Minister of Ukraine Vladimir Groisman to Turkey the parties signed an agreement amending the agreement on the terms of mutual trips of citizens, allowing citizens to travel on ID cards without passports.

According to the agreement, citizens of the two countries, which are ID-passports, can enter and leave, and transit and stay without visas on the territory of Turkey and Ukraine up to 90 days within 180 days.

Recall from the 2012 visa regime between Ukraine and Turkey cancelled. Ukrainians from the date of entry to Turkey can stay there every time not more than 60 days and within 180 days they can enter the country and leave it, provided that the total period of their stay does not exceed 90 days.
