At the Junior world championship 2017 in road Cycling in Bergen, Norway in the middle of the race the 18-year-old Briton Lauren Dolan fell off the bike and tore the meat in the leg.
Despite the hellish pain, Dolan reached the finish line, losing 2 minutes 24 seconds to the winner.
Of course, once the track Dolan was taken to hospital, where she underwent surgery.
