Police called “Superman”
British officer Martin Willis showed real heroism in rescuing lost control of the driver whose car began to fall from the bridge near the city of Leeds. To be near the Willis clung both hands on the wheel dangerous banked down and teetered on the edge of the van and held him until the arrival of rescuers.
Emergency services rope managed to pull the car onto the bridge. The driver was hospitalized, but his life is not in danger.
Martin said that he kept hanging over the precipice the car about 15 minutes, but it seemed to him that time passed a lot more. The British press and users of social networks call him a “hero” and “Superman”.
