The boy with vitiligo have found a true friend among the animals.
History about friendship of children and dogs always touching and interesting, but believe me – the history that we have prepared today, is located in the furthest corner of your heart.
Meet 8-year-old Carter Blanchard of Searcy (Arkansas), who was diagnosed with one of the rare forms of skin disease vitiligo.
His mother Stephanie Adcock grieved for a child’s emotional state, knowing how not easy at such a tender age to learn to accept themselves and confront others: “Carter began to walk to school, where there was a huge number of children. And his appearance quickly changed. The first thing he said to me, sitting in the car, is that he hates your face, hates how he looks!” For the first time doctors diagnosed vitiligo is Carter still in the kindergarten when the boy is around the eyes appeared white spots. Since then, his confidence began to disappear and were replaced by disappointment and complexes, Stephanie was desperate to help her baby, and her prayers finally were answered!
One day, watching the news feed on Facebook, the woman came across a photo of a wonderful and charming dog, with a painfully familiar white spots around the eyes. After spending a few hours searching, she was able to learn that it is a purebred 13-year-old black Labrador rowdy from Oregon, who also was diagnosed with vitiligo, and even in the same year as Carter. “I read that rowdy same diagnosis as my son says Stephanie Adcock, And was shocked! But most importantly I immediately showed the picture of the Labrador Carter and his so excited that rowdy was not ashamed of his uniqueness and was proud of it!”
You will not believe it, but barely seeing a quadruped, and even such like you, Carter two hours he stroked and clutched to her! “When we entered the room to rowdy, it seemed that we come here not for the first time, and was always there, says the boy’s mother – a Labrador and my son was like two loved each other. And, it looks like rhodey knew what was going on inside my son and intuitively helped him. I know that no man this is not right. It was supposed to be a dog. It was supposed to be rowdy…”
And now you just smile, knowing what Carter said about your new friend: “looks Like rowdy is not so fine as with me. She would need a couple of spots on the back!”
