Philip Kirkorov believes that Russia should not send their participants for “Eurovision-2017” which will pass in Kiev. Singer believes this competition is politicized.
– After what happened last year, don’t see any sense in participating in this contest…we all saw when the people of Europe, the former Soviet republics voted for Lazarev… Not just supported, and voted with their money — every sent SMS it cost the viewers money. And a handful of some “decided” that it is unclear on what basis represented their country put Sergei zeros. What’s the point to participate in the competition, which is simply settling scores with our country? Why go where we’re not welcome?, – said Kirkorov.
Last year he was the producer of the contestant from Russia, Sergey Lazarev, who took third place. The victory went to the Ukrainian singer Jamal, that really upset Kirkorov.
Now in the Russian media called the names of two candidates for participation in the contest with singer Alexander Panayotov and the winner of the show “the Voice” Daria Antonyuk.
