New BMW Z4 Roadster will get a unique design, not like the design of the Toyota Supra, on the same platform with which it is being developed, says Marc Werner, head of BMW Australia.
BMW has released two-seat Roadster Z4 from 2002 to 2016. Best of all, these cars were sold in Germany, UK, USA and China. It seemed that everything was going well, but in 2016, the BMW representatives said that they stopped mass production of this Roadster. Indeed, in August last year, the issue stopped.
However, at the end of 2016, began to talk about what BMW intends to revive the Z4. It became known that it will be created on the same platform as the new Toyota Supra. Yes, the two automotive giants have teamed up to develop new Roadster. These new items will create on one platform, but externally they’re very different from each other. Anyway, mark Werner, head of BMW Australia said that the new Z4 will get a “unique” design that is not similar to the design of Supra.
BMW and Toyota have decided to work together to develop a platform for a new sports car in order to reduce costs. So do many manufacturers. However, they make unique models. We are sure that BMW and Toyota will build a unique roadsters.
The public recently showed a concept of the new BMW Z4. The Germans claim that its production version will not differ much. If this is true, then soon the market will be very beautiful double sports Roadster. It will be powered in the base 2.0 l gasoline turbo engine capacity of 180 HP.
