The world says goodbye to the apparatus Cassini, which was launched in 1997 in the framework of the mission “Cassini-Huygens” and the last 13 years have explored Saturn and its surroundings, providing earthlings with pictures of the planet and its satellites.
Initially the mission was designed for three years, but the superior condition of the apparatus allowed the engineers at NASA twice extended. Having made a last round, the unit entered the atmosphere of Saturn and were burned.
