In Los Angeles at the annual awards, The Game Awards were determined by the best games 2017. The results were published on the project website. The leader this year was the game The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
This game also received awards in the categories “Best Director” and “Best action adventure”, beating Super Mario Odyssey, PUBG, Persona 5 and Horizon Zero Dawn.
“Best action game of the year” was recognized as the game II Wolfenstein: The New Colossus, and Overwatch was the winner as the best game that continue to play for several years.
In the category among role-playing games was in the lead Persona 5, recognized as the best fighting game Injustice 2, the best game for the whole family – Super Mario Odyssey, the best strategy – Mario + Kingdom Rabbids Battle.
In the category “Most anticipated game” the winner was a PS4-exclusive The Last of Us: Part II.
