The contest received more than 46 thousand photos

Judges are National Geographic Kids has announced the list of winners of the International children’s contest for photography, which is held annually among children aged 6 to 14 years from all over the world.

The contest received more than 46 thousand photos from young photographers from around the world (one and a half times more than last year), and 11-year-old DUI, Baggerman from the Netherlands won first place for the wonderful picture of blooming tulips, captured with unusual low angle (photo below).

As a reward, DUI has received a five-day trip to Washington, D.C., and a tour of the main office of National Geographic.
