Protests against Lukashenka’s decree is held in Vitebsk, Bobruisk, Baranovichi and Brest.
Thousands of people in several cities of Belarus Sunday, February 26, protesting against the tax on profits, imposed by the presidential decree “On prevention of social dependency.” As reported by BelaPAN, shares held in Vitebsk, Bobruisk, Baranovichi and Brest.
In the first two cities on the street, out of a total of about 2 thousand people. In Baranavichy the rally was attended by about 300 people.
In Brest gathered on Central Lenin square in the amount of about 250 people at first chanted slogans in support of the cancellation of the decree, and then moved in the direction of the regional administration building.
Earlier similar actions were held in Minsk, Gomel, Grodno, Mogilev. A number of participants then received a summons from the police, because the events were not sanctioned by local authorities.
We will remind, the tax paid only 10% of Belarusians who sent the notice.
