The Federal Bureau of investigation for the first time unveiled the 27 photos of the Pentagon taken on 11 September 2001 after the Agency crashed a hijacked plane.
That day, a group of four members of “al-Qaeda” hijacked four passenger aircraft. Five terrorists took control of the American Airlines flight 77 from Washington to Los Angeles- this time the plane was over Eastern Kentucky. The airliner launched back on Washington and attacked the military the Pentagon. In the disaster affected about 200 people, and against all the attacks of 11 September — nearly 3,000.
In the pictures released by the FBI depict the wreckage of the plane, still burning Pentagon and the work of the teams that extinguished the fire and cleared the debris.
