Night Italy from the ISS looks amazing.
French astronaut Thomas Sands, which is included in the crew of the international space station program ISS-50/51, made from the window of the station night photo of Italy.
It is clearly seen, as on the coast of the Peninsula of densely Packed cities and towns, like on top of little stars.
The international space station is currently at an altitude of about 430 kilometers above the Earth’s surface. A few years ago, it was lower as the U.S. space shuttles weren’t flying that high. Now, however, the orbit of the ISS is raised, as at an altitude of about 300 kilometers above the Earth’s surface, the atmosphere, though extremely low, but still gradually slows the space station, forcing most to wasting fuel to adjust its position.
