All the houses you can see the frescoes.
Oberammergau — a small Alpine village attracted us with its fabulous painted facades. Only a few narrow streets, but every house like a work of art. All murals are drawn very high quality, worked out shadows and contours. It seems like the house really decorated columns, shutters and other decorative elements. Basically this traditional Bavarian ornaments, scenes from fairy tales or religious motives.
This unusual technique was first invented by local artist Franz Zwink. As advertising himself, he adorned the walls of his house such unusual frescoes well, and then orders him fell one after the other.
Inspection start from the beginning of the village and will move into to the most interesting.
The village is located in the foothills of the Bavarian Alps, near Munich. At first glance there is nothing unusual. But it is necessary to turn the corner, as are the first frescoes.
