Poroshenko has terminated the citizenship of Ukraine more than 18 thousand people.
President Petro Poroshenko has terminated the citizenship of Ukraine 18 676 persons.
This is stated in the answer of the presidential Administration at the request of journalists.
“June 7 (accession Poroshenko as President) – present the decisions of the President Pyotr Poroshenko had terminated the citizenship of Ukraine 18 676 persons”, – is told in it.
In 2014, the decision Poroshenko was dismissed citizenship 4 640 persons, in 2015 – 5 818, in 2016 – 7 347 in the current year 871.
In particular, the citizenship of Ukraine 15 603 individuals were terminated as a result of withdrawal of Ukrainian citizenship 2 901 – stipulated in international treaties of Ukraine the grounds, 172 – as a result of the loss of Ukrainian citizenship.
Earlier, the State migration service informed the Agency, in 2016 the citizenship of Ukraine received 16 866.
Including decrees Poroshenko in 2016 were adopted Ukrainian citizenship 809 of foreigners and stateless persons upon their application, from which most Russians – 131.
