Russian actress Elena Yakovleva went to Kharkov to parents and brother. She reported about it to Agency of RBC, commenting on the ban of the Ukrainian side to enter Ukraine.
“I am now in the area of border control. Won’t let me in the country, waiting to send back to Moscow. I was driving to my parents, brother and other relatives who live in Kharkov,” she said.
The actress added that the reason for the refusal of entry to Ukraine was a visit it annexed Crimea in 2015-2016, but she could not recall exactly when she came to the Peninsula.
“I don’t know when they left the law and became prohibited. When I was last time in Crimea, I don’t remember,” she said.
On may 24 the Ukrainian border guards are not allowed to Kharkov Yakovlev, who came with the show. She was denied entry into the country for three years because of the performances in the annexed Crimea.
