SUKHUMI, March 4. /TASS/. The authorities of Abkhazia appealed to the Prosecutor General of Russia with a demand to initiate a criminal case on the fact alleged to be poisoning of the presidential candidate of the Republic Aslan Bzhaniya, information about the diagnosis of which is spread by Russian media. This was reported to journalists in the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers.
“The leadership of the Republic of Abkhazia demands [from] the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation to initiate a criminal case on the alleged poisoning of a Deputy of the National Assembly – Parliament of the Republic of Abkhazia, the candidate, citizen of the Republic of Abkhazia and the Russian Federation Bzhania A. G. on the territory of the Russian Federation”, – is spoken in the message of the Cabinet of Ministers. It is clarified that this statement was made acting President of Abkhazia Valery Bganba at the meeting with the Ambassador of the Russian Federation in the Republic Alexei Dvinyanin on Wednesday.
