BMW introduced a new M760Li xDrive. It’s not exactly a model M7.
Just the flagship of the brand has added a package of “M Performance”. These days the car is the so-called global launch.
In fact, M760Li is the answer of the Munich manufacturer Plus such Audi S8 and Mercedes S63 AMG, the S65 or even. This means that a large luxury sedan needs to move with great speed and dynamics.
Of course! 600 horses and 800 Nm of torque are required to turn it into a supercar. Judge for yourself: the acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes just 2.7 seconds and a top speed of nearly 305 km/h.
Under the hood is located a 6.6-liter twin-turbocharged V12 engine, which can be found in the latest rolls-Royce. Torque is routed to all four wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission. The same version of Excellence with a V12 unit, the automaker offers and without the optional package the “M Performance”, with a less sporty and more elegant appearance, but also with less speed.
Another version of the B7 comes from tuners Alpina, which suspiciously offer the same result, but with the lighter engine. The only high-performance sedan with a twelve-cylinder in this class — Mercedes-S65 AMG, which boasts significantly more power and torque: 621 HP and 1,000 Nm but without all wheel drive with great acceleration to “hundreds”. Plus and Audi S8, which may be the closest competitor, although it has more power than M760Li, but with a significantly reduced torque of 605 HP and 700 Nm.
Of course, output parameters, and dynamic performance show car only partially. How will the vehicle on the road will tell the test drivers. Surely we will see a number of related species breeding in the near future. Mention only that the cost of a luxury sedan with sports options, over 150 thousand euros.
