Property rights returned to the state in order of special confiscation.
The court gave the state rights to the football club Metalist (Kharkiv).
This was stated by Prosecutor General Yury Lutsenko.
“Football club (FC) Metalist will now not belong to fugitive oligarchs, and Kharkiv”, – said the Prosecutor General.
According to him, the court was deprived of in search of the owner of Eastern European fuel and energy company (VETEK) of Serhiy Kurchenko rights to Metalist. Property rights returned to the state in order of special confiscation.
We will remind, on April 18, 2016 the management of the Kharkiv Metalist, which belongs to the fluent oligarch Sergey Kurchenko, parted ways with head coach of the team Alexander Mr Sevidov, too, and considered the possibility of the dissolution of the first team from-for suspicions in contractual matches.
In early February it became known that Kurchenko did not pay debts to players of the Kharkiv team after the New year. After that, the football Federation of Ukraine has banned Metalist register beginners because of debts to the players.
Also, the media learned about the failure of the Bank to sell the former Metalist owner Oleksandr Yaroslavsky.
Later because of debts to municipal services of Kyiv district court of Kharkiv arrested the property of the football club Metalist, which belongs to the oligarch Sergey Kurchenko.
In addition, Odessa oblast Prosecutor’s office suspects oligarch in the creation of a criminal organization and legalization of income obtained by criminal means. In this regard, may 30, 2017, the Prosecutor’s office agreed and sent the oligarch Sergey Kurchenko, a notice of suspicion.
