Tesla will begin installing charging stations in customers ‘ homes

Installation will cost the owners of electric cars about a thousand dollars.

Tesla will begin to install their charging stations in customers ‘ homes. The service will cost drivers about a thousand dollars.

In addition, the company Tesla plans to double the number of its charging stations Supercharger. This decision is connected with the release of a new model — Model 3. Currently, the Supercharger network has 5 400 charging stations. Tesla plans to increase their number to 10,000.

The first charging station Tesla Supercharger appeared in the autumn of 2012 in the USA. At the moment these stations are also located in Europe, Asia and Australia. One Tesla Supercharger operates in Russia and is located in the suburbs.

In addition, the company Tesla introduced a fee for downtime on their charging stations Supercharger. This decision is due to the fact that many car owners leave their electric cars after fully charging the battery.

To know the degree of charging the battery of the electric vehicle Tesla owners can use a special smartphone app. If the driver takes his car for five minutes after this procedure, you will have to pay 0.40 dollars per minute in downtime. These funds will be deducted the next time you visit the service center.
