Tesla showed its best quarterly sales results

The company plans to implement in the first half of 50 thousand cars.

The American automaker Tesla Motors Inc in the first quarter of 2017 increased sales of electric vehicles in the world at 69% compared to the same period last year.

In January-March the company has supplied nearly 25 million electric vehicles -13,45 of thousands of Model S sedans and 11.55 thousand crossover Model X.

It is noted that this is the best quarterly result of the company. While Tesla, unlike other representatives of the car industry, gives data on the sales by region.

Earlier in the company Elon musk said that they plan to implement in the first half of 50 thousand cars.

Capitalization of Tesla since the beginning of the current year increased by about 30%, bringing it almost reached the size of the market value of Ford Motor Co., which has a history more than 110 years.
