A coordinated series of 13 blasts occurred in the southern provinces of Thailand, information on casualties yet, reported Wednesday night a Third national TV channel of the country.
The explosions occurred between 19.00 and 22.30 local time (15.00 – 18.30 GMT) at police stations, premises for police and permanent police posts in the provinces of Nevsehir, Yala, Pattani and Songkhla. In most cases the explosions were caused by hand grenades thrown from a passing motorbike, the channel reports.
It is known that the explosions of two grenades at residential complex police in the province of Pattani, no one was hurt. At the moment there is no information on whether the victims in other places where the explosions took place.
