Tennis player Kvitova continues to recover after an armed attack

Famous Czech tennis player Petra Kvitova has told how her process of rehabilitation after a serious hand injury.

Kvitova was out of a competitive process after in December of last year in her apartment burglar broke in. Not expecting anyone to find at home, a robber with a knife attacked a player and struck her lacerated injury on the playing left hand.

On the same day, Kvitova in Brno underwent a complex surgery to repair tendons in all five fingers of the left hand. Doctors suggest that full recovery of the Czech project will take about six months.

“Time passed very quickly – it’s been three months since the attack, and I want you to know that I have a lot of work to restore. I still can’t tell you when I get back, but I can say that tennis is for me a huge motivation. I realized how much I love challenges!

My Outlook on life has changed, and I’m doing everything to give yourself a second chance to get back on the court. Thank you for staying with me, and I hope to see you all in the near future,” Kvitova wrote on his page on “Instagram”.

After surgery Kvitova about two months spent in a cast, then two-time Wimbledon champion began to develop injured the tendons in all five fingers of your left hand shock.

Despite skipping the first part of the season, Petra Kvitova is held in the top 20 of the WTA rankings.
