The second racket of Ukraine Lesya Tsurenko started confidently on the grass tournament in ‘ s-Hertogenbosch the Dutch.
Tsurenko, received from the organizers of the tournament, seventh seeded, in the first round met with 21-year-old tennis player from Belgium by Alice Mertens, who recently lost to Elina Svitolina in the final of the tournament in Istanbul.
Ukrainian woman last year during a fleeting grass season won only one victory. Last year’s result was subjected to Tsurenko after the first match in just 71 minutes from Kiev broke Mertens followed in the 1/8 finals.
The fate of the first set decided an early break from Tsurenko. In the eighth game, Williams tried to restore parity, but missed two break points.
In the second game of the struggle on the court it was not walking – Tsurenko organized three break, but his serve pulled two protracted game.
