Tennis in Ukrainian, Svitolina in Birmingham successfully opened the grass season

The first racket of Ukraine Elina Svitolina won the first match at a major grass tournament in Birmingham WTA Premier with a prize pool of $846,000.

First opponent Svitolina after the insulting defeat in the quarterfinals of Roland Garros was 126-I racket of the world of Britain’s Heather Watson. Tennis players spent a third-person game in 2015, on the grass tournament in Eastbourne defeated Watson and Svitolina was stronger at the Olympic games in Rio de Janeiro.

Svitolina did not dwell on local failure, and quickly showed Watson why she is the fifth racket of the world. Ukrainian made a break, and his serve lost a few number of draws.

In the second round of the grass tournament in Birmingham, Elina Svitolina will play against the winner of the match between Kamila Georgie (Italy) and Natalia Vikhlyantseva (Russia).
