The fourth racket of the Ukraine’s Kateryna Kozlova for the first time in the season made it to the quarterfinals of the WTA tournament.
In the second round of a clay tournament in Båstad Kozlov met with the 49-th racket of the world German Mona Barthel. In personal meetings the Ukrainian was leading with the score 1:0 in 2015 in Doha the native of Nikolaev beat Barthel in two sets (6:2, 6:2).
In the first set with the score 4:3 in favor of Gantry players because of rain had to leave the court. The forced pause is better used Ukrainka – after the game resumed Kozlov defended his serve and then earned an appointment and has implemented a set-bol.
