Tennis in Ukrainian, Dolgopolov started confidently in Båstad

The first racket of Ukraine Oleksandr Dolgopolov to reach the second round of the clay tournament in Båstad Swedish.

After fleeting appearances at Wimbledon, Dolgopolov decided in Sweden to continue the clay season – from Kiev in the first round of the tournament in Båstad met with the 134th-ranked Leonardo Mayer.

In the first set Dolgopolov confidently filed, and at the reception in the sixth game earned and converted the only break point. The second batch for Alexander has developed even easier – Mayer twice lost his serve and failed to convert two break points.

In just 62 minutes Dolgopolov scored a debut win in Båstad and for the first time in two months to reach the second round of a clay tournament.

His opponent in the second round Oleksandr Dolgopolov finds out later. Ukrainian will meet with the strongest tennis player of Georgia Nikoloz Basilashvili or ninth racket of Båstad Argentine Horacio Sabulosum.
