Tennis in Ukrainian, Dolgopolov – quarterfinalist Buenos Aires

The first racket of Ukraine Oleksandr Dolgopolov won the second match of the tournament on clay in the Argentine capital.

For the quarter-finals in Buenos Aires, Dolgopolov competed with the second-seeded Pablo Cuevas. Ukrainian tried for the second time in his career to beat the strongest tennis player of Uruguay.

In the first set, Dolgopolov did not let the opponent to his serve and reception made a break and took the lead. In the second game the players six times he defended his serve on the tiebreak Cuevas was leading 4:1, what Dolgopolov responded with a series of six winning balls in a row and was followed in the quarter-finals.

In the victorious match against Cuevas Dolgopolov made a break, played on his serve and one break point, served 10 aces and committed two unforced errors.

Dolgopolov for the first time since June of 2016 managed on the ATP tour to win two matches in a row. The next opponent of Alexander in Buenos Aires will 101-I racket of the world Gerald Melzer. With the Austrian Dolgopolov in official matches have not yet met.
