Ten countries with the most powerful criminal clans. Photo

Living here is very unsafe.

And each of the States is a particularly dangerous territory for a variety of reasons, from-for what there not worth the extra time to show up.

The list of countries with the most active and most dangerous criminal gangs made up experts of the world economic forum (WEF). They did this by examining the impact of gangsters in 138 countries around the world. The country received security assessment on a scale from one to seven. According to the authors of the rating, in Norway and Finland, the crime has little effect on the business, so the state got 6.1 and 6.8 points respectively.

First place: El Salvador

This country received only half of the score of “security” of seven possible as suffering from the organized crime state in the world. According to the UN, it takes more than 108 murders per hundred thousand people. And this same country because of its location at the crossroads of Central and North America has become a great place to work drug.

Second place: Honduras

According to UN statistics, in 2014 in San Pedro Sula, the homicide amounted to 171,2 per hundred thousand population. The impact of crime on business is estimated at 2.4 points. All this allows to speak about Honduras as one of the cruelest places in the world.

Third place: Venezuela

And the most dangerous place here in Caracas, where there is 130 murders per hundred thousand people. Organized crime is becoming more influential due to the unstable political situation. The country received a rating of “security” to 2.5 points.

Fourth place: Mexico

In the state there is no war, but last year Mexico ranked second in the number of victims in the list of countries where there are armed clashes. Each year, thousands of people in the war between the government and major drug cartels. According to statistics, last year alone the country has lost 20 thousand people. Given the above, the country received 2.6 points.

Fifth place: Guatemala

The country received 2.7 points from the experts of the WEF, and closes the top ten of the UN in terms of murders. After the civil war 1996 Guatemala was the location of two major groups of the region – “Gang 18th street and Mara Salvatrucha” that control the country.

Sixth place: Jamaica

The country is considered one of the major exporters of marijuana and a transit corridor for cocaine shipments from Latin America. For these “merits” of Jamaica received 2.9 points.

Seventh place: Colombia

The activities of organized crime here was estimated at 2.9 points. Colombia is considered one of the main suppliers of cocaine, and the total area under illicit Coca supply is estimated at one hundred thousand hectares. From the beginning of 2017, the authorities confiscated from criminals 337 tons of the substance.

Eighth place: Chad

Criminals are associated with radical Islamists from the group Boko Haram, they are mostly engaged in the smuggling of gold and oil supplies in the Arabian Peninsula of cocaine and marijuana. According to experts of the WEF, Chad has received 3.1 points out of seven.

Ninth place: Peru

Despite a network of drug cartels in the country and second in the world in the export of Coca, the level of violence associated with organized crime in Peru remains low. This is due to the fact that “black market” controlled by family clans that cooperate with each other. The country’s security experts have estimated at 3.2 points.

Tenth place: Yemen

The safest of the most dangerous countries in the world, if I may say so. She received 3.3 points out of seven. Causes of a dysfunctional situation here was poverty and armed conflict between the Houthis and the authorities, which stretches from 2014.
