In the area of CONCACAF (Central and North America) completed the fifth and final stage of the world Cup qualifiers-2018.
Team USA in the last round it was enough to not lose to underdogs Trinidad and Tobago, but the team of Bruce Arena had managed to cope with this seemed to be an easy task. American fiasco took the national team of Panama. A late goal by Roman Torres in the home match with Costa Rica allowed the Panamanians for the first time to get to the world Cup.
Team Honduras showed character in the match against unmotivated Mexicans and have already secured their place in the play-offs against Australia, which took place on the eve of Syria.
