Tata Motors has named the date of the premiere of his first sports car

The production version of the car will be released in a limited edition of about 250 copies and will go on sale in 2018.

Indian company Tata Motors has posted teaser images of their first ever sports car. The car will be presented at the Geneva motor show on March 7. Most likely, the motor show will be shown a concept future model.

Sold car will be under the sub-brand TAMO. According to preliminary data, the novelty will receive the name of Futuro. It is expected that the production version of the car will be released in a limited edition of about 250 copies. Sales sports car should begin in 2018.

Double the car will be built on a new platform. Previously, Carscoops reported that the car will be equipped with 1.2-litre petrol engine. The capacity of the unit is 180 horsepower. Futuro sports car weight will not exceed 800 pounds.

Last year, the company Tata Motors has announced that it is transitioning to a new design called Impact. This step is caused by the desire to satisfy buyers of Tata cars. According to the chief designer of the company Mr. Pratap Bose, the first impression of the machine the person is formed in 20 seconds when he saw her.
