TASS: the trials of hypersonic missile “Zircon” will be held until the end of 2019 in the White sea
Regular tests of new hypersonic anti-ship missiles “Zircon” will be held on the sea polygon of the Northern fleet before the end of 2019. It is reported TASS citing a source in power structures Severo-the Western Federal district.
“Start “Zircon” is supposed to run from the White sea to the end of the year,” said the source.
Earlier media, citing a source said that the Russian hypersonic missile “Zircon” during trials reached a speed eight times the speed of sound. This model is designed to engage ships.
