Switzerland qualified for the world Cup

The national teams of Croatia and Switzerland joined the participants of the final stage of the 2018 world Cup in Russia.

The Croats after home 4:1 in Greece without problems defended the desired result. Defender of Kiev “Dynamo” domagoj Vida played the full match, and his teammate Josip Vida left in stock.

Croatia for the fifth time will play in the final stage of the world Cup. In 2014 in Brazil “Checkers” with one victory it could get out of the group.

Switzerland with difficulty passed Northern Ireland. In the home match the team of Vladimir Petkovic opted not to risk it and did everything to preserve a goalless draw. The plans of the owners hardly been broken in injury time when defender Milan’s Ricardo Rodriguez beat out a ball from empty gate after an error by Jan Sommer on the output.

The Swiss team for the fourth consecutive time will play in the world Cup. Team in 2006 and 2014 came from the group, but in 1/8 final lost to the Ukraine and Argentina respectively.
