Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin and head of the Department of foreign Affairs of Switzerland Didier Burkhalter signed an agreement on visa liberalization between the two countries. This was announced by the Minister of internal Affairs Arsen Avakov in Twitter.
“Along with Pavlo Klimkin signed on behalf of Ukraine with Switzerland the agreement on visa liberalization and readmission. Europe is getting even closer!” – wrote the Minister.
We will remind, on may 17, the ceremony of signing the agreement on the introduction of EU bezveza for citizens of Ukraine.
According to the decision, the Ukrainians with biometric passports can travel to the EU without a visa for 90 days within a 180 day period for tourism, visit relatives or friends or for commercial purposes, temporary employment is thus prohibited.
Also accepted the readmission agreement – the consent of a state to receive back into its territory its own citizens who are subject to deportation from another country.
