Svitolina successfully launched in Hong Kong

The first racket of Ukraine Elina Svitolina won the first match of the tournament WTA International in Hong Kong.

As the leader of sowing Svitolina your way to “Hong Kong Tennis Open” has begun a match with former 31st-ranked Zarina Diyas, who is now the seventh top ten of the WTA rankings. In personal meetings Ukrainka lost 0:1, however, the only match between the tennis players was played in 2011, when Svitolina was not yet a formidable force in the WTA tour.

Svitolina took a few games to get used to the coverage in Hong Kong. Ukrainian allowed Diyas lead 3:0, but quickly won five games in a row and the fourth set ball opened the scoring in the match.

In the second set Svitolina at the fifth attempt did break. With the score 5:4 Elina failed to apply for the match. The Ukrainian immediately took another break, but the second attempt was unable to complete the match. In the tie-break Diyas made six unforced errors than most easier way of Svitolina to win.

In the match against Diyas, Svitolina has filed 4 aces, made 4 double faults, won 77% of games with the first goal, and sold 4 of the 12 break points.
