The women’s tennis Association introduced an updated version of world ranking.
Ukrainian Elina Svitolina at the expense of yesterday’s victory at the Premier 5 tournament in Toronto has once again updated his personal record in the WTA rankings. A native of Odessa walked Carolina Pliskova and Garbine to new York and became the fourth racket of the world.
With this breakthrough Svitolina repeated the national record of Andrei Medvedev, who in may 1994 in the ATP ranking also took fourth position.
Along the way Elina has headed Champion race WTA, ahead of Simona Halep at 40 points. From ninth place the gap Ukrainka is more than 1500 points. Thus, Svitolina is 99% guaranteed a debut at the Final tournament WTA.
Following the tournament in Cincinnati, Svitolina in certain hands, can aspire to the status of the first racket of the world. Meanwhile, the Ukrainian has a good chance to debut a breakthrough in the top 3 world classification.
