Ukrainians are forced to give doctors a lot of money for childbirth in hospitals in the capital.
According to the head of the Ministry of health Uliana Suprun, people of Kiev to pay $1000 to the hospitals to have them delivered.
This was told by acting Minister of health of Ukraine Ulyana Suprun.
To a journalist’s question how much the cost of childbirth in Ukraine, Suprun said that sometimes the amount reaches $1000.
“There are other rates in other cities, in Kiev, mostly it’s somewhere a thousand dollars,” said Suprun.
The leading question, how to wean doctors to take such a sum for childbirth and how to wean people to give the money, Suprun said that only the worthy salary of a doctor will fix it.
“When the rate will be decent for the doctor, there will be no requirement to take patients money. When will a decent rate when you can pay for all the needs of the patient, then we will not need to pay the doctor or buy the materials myself,” paanila acting Minister of health.
