In the French city of Ajaccio on Saturday, April 8, clashes broke out between security guards of the presidential candidate marine Le Pen and supporters of the independence of Corsica.
“Clashes took place in the Congress Palace of the Corsican capital after security, marine Le Pen has tried to withdraw from the hall about 15 of the demonstrators, who shouted “fora a Francia!” (“France, get out!”)”, – stated in the message.
According to the Agency France Press, supporters of independence of Corsica and the guards Le Pen “exchanged blows”, the hall was used tear gas.
Soon, the police cleared the Palace of congresses.
