The machine can carry a company of four and picks up speed up to 80 km/h
Air pollution and combating dangerous climate change motivates the automotive companies to develop new, more environmentally friendly cars. And not only companies.
A group of students from the Netherlands have created a car with completely natural substances.
A new car made with a special resin derived from sugar beets and leaves of Dutch flax. The machine can carry a company of four and picks up speed up to 80 km/h. This environmental car is electric without recharging it can travel up to 100 km.
The developers at team TU / Ecomotive from University of technology Eindhoven I assure you that with all the cars only the wheels and the suspension system made from biological materials. Named a new car Lina.
Lina weighs just 310 kg, of which 30 is the battery.
Crash test prototype is not yet passed, but the developers say that the design has strength characteristics similar to fiberglass. A full test drive plan at the end of this year.
