World famous singer and musician Sting 6 October 2017, will perform in Kiev!
After sold-out shows across North America, Europe, South America and Mexico Sting s 57th & 9th World Tour is taking the world by storm with rave reviews from fans and critics. Guitar rock tour kicked off in North America, visited in the past month Europe and is currently undergoing in Central and South America and then Asia, and then sting will return to Europe for selected performances in the summer festivals and will continue fall tour new shows announced in Ukraine, Austria, Bulgaria, Russia, Lithuania, Poland, Hungary and Macedonia. Additional European dates still to be announced.
In a round of 57th & 9th World Tour sting accompanies a group of three musicians, including his longtime guitarist, Dominic Miller, Josh Freese (drums) and Rufus Miller (guitar). Special guests – singer and songwriter Joe Sumner, as well as accordionist Percy Cardona, who regularly performs with The Last Bandoleros.
Note 57th & 9th is the twelfth Studio album from sting and his first work in the style of pop-rock over the last ten years. Ten songs make up the album represent a wide range of musical styles, from the piercing guitar single I Can’t Stop Thinking About You before rhythmic hit Petrol Head and anthem 50 000. The album, produced by Martin Kirshenbaum, was recorded just a few weeks with regular performers sting Dominic Miller (guitar) and Vinnie Colaiuta (drums). The post also involved the drummer Josh Freese (Nine Inch Nails, Guns N ‘Roses) and guitarist Lyle workman, and vocalists made The Last Bandoleros.
Music in the life of Gordon Sumner, better known to the wider public under the alias of sting, has always occupied an important place. Rise to fame began with a speech at the group of Police, but after several years of successful performances and excellent albums, the group disbanded, sting began a solo career. Blues, reggae, new age, jazz – a variety of events on the stage impresses the audience and not let go until the last minute.
