Law enforcement officers used tear gas canisters.
Near the village bilska Wola Volodymyrets district of Rivne region on 7 September there was a fight between amber miners, foresters and the police.
This was reported by the press service of the police of the region.
“About 15 hours foresters with tractors moved to the reserve to eliminate the effects of blur of the soil and to fill holes in areas of illegal mining of amber. They prevented about 40 miners, blocking traffic. Foresters called police for help. In the village bilska Wola the road was blocked by about 150 local residents who began to resist and throw rocks at law enforcement officers,” said police.
