State of emergency in Kherson: lodger strangled the landlady

According to the woman, the owner constantly reproached her that she pays little for an apartment, does not turn off the lights and litter

In Kherson lodger strangled the landlady. The body of 43-year-old woman found her friend, the press service of the police region.

“During the examination of the body revealed that the woman’s death was caused by mechanical asphyxia. The atmosphere in the apartment indicated that there was a chronic alcoholic. In the apartment were friends of the deceased and her lodger. Friends said that he came to visit, the hostess was lying on the couch. On the question of why she doesn’t get up, the roommate said that the woman is sleeping. When friends came closer, I realized that the owner is dead, the neck was seen the rope marks,” – noted in police.

As it turned out, women didn’t get along. Supposedly the owner was constantly rebuking the lodger that she pays little for housing, does not turn off the lights and litter. When, during a drinking woman again quarreled, the lodger grabbed a rope and strangled the landlady.

Investigators opened criminal proceedings under part 1 of article 115 of the Criminal code of Ukraine “Premeditated murder”. The woman faces up to 15 years in prison.
