State of emergency in Iran and Iraq: the number of deaths after the earthquake doubled

Due to the devastating earthquake in Iran and Iraq, a large number of people left without the basic conditions for survival.

At least 407 people died in the earthquake on the border of Iran and Iraq. Some sources report 445 deaths, reports the Chronicle.Info with reference to Associated Press.

According to the representative of the National organization for disaster management of Bernama Saidi, another 6,700 people were injured.

Greatest destruction recorded in the Iranian provinces of Kermanshah and Ilam. According to the foreign Ministry, there are no Ukrainians among the victims of the earthquake.
