State Duma Deputy is detained for a bribe of $45 million

According to the lawyer, the Deputy was called in Yekaterinburg on interrogation to the investigator, and on arrival was arrested and taken to court.

The Leninsky court of Yekaterinburg on Friday, March 15, will consider the petition of the investigator about the arrest.

According to the investigation, from may 2010 to January 2014, the Deputy together with the then Governor of Chelyabinsk region Mikhail Yurevich, acting in an organized group, received from the head of the holding company a bribe in the amount of more than 3.2 billion rubles for the provision of patronage.

The state Duma in December 2018 was agreed to Belousov deprivation of parliamentary immunity and instituting criminal case against him.
