8. Michigan Central station, Detroit
This station was built in 1913, and at the time of construction it was the tallest in the world. The work station was shut down in 1988, but during the 1990-ies it was opened for visitors. Later, the station was closed due to numerous acts of vandalism, and today it is under protection.
7. Pripyat, Ukraine
Pripyat — a Ghost town in the Kiev region of Ukraine. In connection with the accident at the nuclear power plant on 27 April 1986, made the announcement about the evacuation. Everyone was forbidden to bring any thing, and avoid panic residents said they’ll be home soon. Today the situation in the city is relatively safe and there are guided tours in the surrounding area.
6. Ocean liner SS America
In 1941, the ship was assigned to the military transport and was renamed “West point”. In the postwar years, the ship became a passenger, and in 1980 he had wanted to do for a jail. In 1994, in the Atlantic ocean the ship is caught in a storm, and then ran aground near Fuerteventura (Canary Islands). The entire crew was evacuated by helicopter.

4. The “Hotel Del Salto”, Bogotá, Colombia
“Del Salto” was closed in the early 90s because of the protracted renovation, which reduced the interest of tourists. But more the interest of tourists fell down due to the fact that the hotel there were several suicides. Many people believe that their cause was the mystical power of the building.
3. Military hospital Beelitz, Brandenburg, Germany
This abandoned hospital has served both the German and Soviet armies. The most famous patient of this place — Adolf Hitler. Locals and tourists say that near the hospital strange things happen and there is paranormal activity.
2. Miranda Castle, Celles, Belgium
Beautiful neo-Gothic castle stands empty and abandoned since 1991. Funds to maintain the castle in good condition are very high and to find investors failed. This castle was used as the shooting location for the TV series “Hannibal”.
1. The Power Plant Of Charleroi, Belgium
In 2006 Greenpeace gave a lot of negative reviews about the power plant. The report notes that Charleroi is responsible for 10% of carbon dioxide emissions in the country. Then in 2007 the plant was closed.
