Judging by the pictures, the design of the Audi Q8 will be almost completely repeat the homonymous concept presented at the last Detroit auto show.
According to unofficial data, the engine range of the production version of the crossover will include petrol and diesel V6 and V8 engines with turbocharging. Sports version called SQ8 can get a 4.0-liter diesel V8 with a return of 430 horsepower.
Audi has registered the name RS Q8.
The car will be equipped with four-liter gasoline twin-turbo V8 engine, which will borrow the Porsche Panamera Turbo the second generation. The efficiency of the engine will make around 600 horsepower. The unit will be combined with an automatic transmission and all-wheel drive system.
Audi will launch the Q8 crossover into production in 2018. The model will be produced at the plant in Bratislava.
