The cost of repair of military equipment will increase by half.
In 2017 the costs of developing and purchasing weapons and military equipment in Ukraine doubled. This was announced by Deputy Director of the Finance Department of the Ministry of defence of Ukraine, Colonel Sergei Galinski at a briefing on Tuesday, September 12.
“Specified amount of funds (33.8 billion UAH is provided for logistical support of the Ministry of defense – ed.) allows you to direct them to such priorities: first of all, the cost of developing and purchasing weapons and military equipment in 2017, more than double compared with the year 2016”, – he said.
According to Galitskogo, the cost of repair of weapons and military equipment, material support, housing provision as a whole increased by half compared to last year.
