The photographer filmed the battle the ferocious leopards.
The Kgalagadi transfrontier Park in South Africa is known for its incredible encounters with wild animals — from simple interactions to epic murders.
Photographer fany the Heymans was lucky enough to shoot a truly fascinating stuff — battle the ferocious leopards.
“We were driving along the river Auob when I saw the leopard. Then we saw the second and they were close.”
“After a few seconds all hell broke loose — a strange sound, a powerful growl and the dust that filled the air. The moment was exciting and scary. The earth literally shook under our car. It was a struggle for territory.”
The fourth round was not. After a few minutes the dust settled and the leopards are dispersed. To clarify who’s in charge, it took a few seconds.
