The Spanish government has blocked in 2019, the number of deals with Israel in the defense sector and national security in connection with fears that the equipment supplied will be used to violate human rights.
In particular, cancelled a deal to supply a batch of 2,000 cuffs of the Israel police at the cost of 17 thousand Euro, 550 pieces of electronic equipment for Autonomous vehicles worth 95 million euros and equipment to ensure information security a cost of 10 million euros, according to El Pais.
At the same time Israel was delivered from Spain night vision equipment, weapons and ammunition for 2.1 million euros, is intended solely for use by the military.
